Rain plays spoilsport in Women’s Cricket Premier League

Patna:  Rain disrupted the MP Women’s Cricket Premier League began on Sunday at the Moinul Haq Stadium as part of the Sansad Khel Mahotsav.

In the morning Patna Red won the toss and decided to field. Patna Golden team batters had played only 2 overs when rain interrupted the match. The match was called off.

Other programmes could not be held due to rain. If the weather permits then the match will be played as per scheduled on Monday.  This information was given by the organising committee’s Ashish Sinha (former Ranji player) and coach Santosh Kumar.
