Patna: On Monday, at the Urja Stadium in Patna, Union Minister for Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Rajiv Ranjan Singh, popularly known as Lalan Singh, handed over appointment letters to candidates selected for various central government departments in the Rozgar Mela. This Rozgar Mela was part of a nationwide initiative inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during which appointment letters were distributed to 71,000 candidates across India. In Patna, Lalan Singh personally presented letters to 25 selected candidates.

Focus on Women Empowerment
The ceremony witnessed the presence of officers from the Seema Shasastra Bal (SSB) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Lalan Singh highlighted the government’s efforts towards women empowerment, noting that a significant number of women were included in this round of appointments. “This initiative underscores the commitment to empowering women,” Singh stated.

Stories of Resilience and Joy

The event was filled with enthusiasm as candidates expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister and shared their journeys. Divya Kumari, a resident of Sasaram and selected as a station master, spoke of her struggles. “I am the eldest daughter in my family. My father works in a private job, and we recently faced a tragic loss with the death of my brother. Today’s appointment has brought happiness back to our family,” she said.

NDA Government’s Employment Milestone

Lalan Singh emphasised the achievements of the NDA government in creating employment opportunities. “So far, nearly 10 lakh people have been employed through this initiative. The process will continue as part of our vision for Atma Nirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) and a developed nation. With the youth contributing to the country’s progress, this dream will surely be realised,” he affirmed.

The Rozgar Mela is a testament to the government’s commitment to addressing unemployment and fostering economic growth, with beneficiaries expressing hope and optimism for a brighter future.
