Patna, June 9: Sanjeev Kumar Singh, representing Patna, showcased remarkable performance in the Masters Badminton competition organized by the Master Games Federation of India in Anand city, Gujarat. He clinched two gold medals and one silver medal in the event.
Sanjeev Kumar Singh’s triumph included gold medals in both the 50+ singles and 55+ doubles categories. Additionally, he brought recognition to Bihar by securing the silver medal in the 50+ doubles category, where he partnered with Manoj Kumar.
Sanjeev, initially recognized for his football prowess, has transitioned to badminton, displaying exceptional talent and dedication. His success in badminton adds to his impressive sporting achievements, having previously captained and represented the Bihar football team in the Santosh Trophy. Furthermore, his coaching stint with the Patna football team has been noteworthy.
Despite facing challenges with knee issues, Sanjeev Kumar Singh’s determination and skill have propelled him to success in badminton, earning numerous accolades for Bihar in the Masters Games.
