Patna, may 1, 2024: The All Bihar Chess Association released its annual calendar here on Tuesday. According to the released calendar and the brochure of the competition, the Bihar State Women’s Chess Championships will be organised from May 10 at the Bihar School of Chess, Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna.
This tournament will select the state women’s team, which will represent Bihar in the National Women’s Chess Championship in Chennai in June. This championship will also determine the Bihar women’s team’s selection for the National Team Chess Championship.
The tournament, spanning three days, will award a total cash prize of Rs 5,000 to the winners. The last date for entry is May 7.
