Patna Sadar Block ‘Daksh’ School Level Ball Badminton Tournament Organised

Patna:  Patna Sadar Block “Daksh” School Level Ball Badminton Tournament was organised at Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhavan here as per the instructions of Bihar Government’s Art, Culture and Youth Department.  76 boys and girls from different schools of Patna Sadar block participated. Based on the performance of this tournament, boys and girls of under-14, under-17 and under-19 age groups will be selected to participate in the district level “Daksh” school ball badminton tournament. The block level school cricket, chess and karate competition was organised at Pataliputra Sports Complex.

Earlier, the block level “Daksh” school ball badminton tournament was inaugurated by Vice President of Bihar State Ball Badminton Association Prof Suheli Mehta. Addressing the players, Prof. Suheli Mehta said that it is necessary to be efficient to achieve the goal. Along with studies, sports are also very important, she said.

Advising the budding ball badminton players to play with hard work and dedication, she said that you can achieve a lot of fame in the country and the world with your game. On this occasion, Bihar State Ball Badminton Association Secretary Gouri Shankar, Joint Secretary Mithali Mitra, Anamika Paswan, Kumar Adarsh, physical teacher Rakesh Ranjan, senior national player-cum-ball badminton coach of Kilkari Badal Kumar and senior national player-cum-physical teacher Neha Rani were present.
