The champions will play their first match against Bengal Warriors on January 26 at the famous Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna, followed by matches against Puneri Paltan on January 27, Gujarat Giants on January 29 and Bengaluru Bulls on January 31, 2024. It is expected that each of these matches will be very exciting.

Patna Pirates will be led by Sachin Tanwar, who will replace Neeraj, during the domestic league matches. Neeraj has been rested due to injury. Manjeet will be the vice-captain of the team.

Led by Pirates captain Sachin Tanwar, the team includes Manjeet, Sudhakar, Sandeep Kumar, Ranjit Naik, Zheng-Wei-Chen as raiders, Ankit, Babu M, Daniel Odhiambo, Rohit as all-rounders and Manish, Naveen Sharma, Thiagarajan. Yuvraj, Abhinand and Deepak Kumar will be included as defenders.  Sandeep Kumar is the first player from Bihar who is playing with Patna Pirates in Pro Kabaddi League. The team is being trained by coach Narendra Kumar Redhu and deputy coach Anil Chaprana.

Patna Pirates CEO Pawan S Rana said, “The Kabaddi league in India has gradually evolved every season. Teams are now playing highly competitive Kabaddi and hence it is difficult to predict who will emerge victorious. I think it is a good development for Kabaddi because now we have better players. This is definitely good for the fans and supporters as they get to watch better matches. Known for nurturing Kabaddi talent at the grassroots level, Pirates has expanded its reach among the youth who want to make Kabaddi their career. I am hopeful that the Season 10 matches in Patna will be a memorable moment for the spectators.”

Throwing light on Patna Pirates’ home league matches in Season 10, Patna Pirates head coach Narendra Kumar said, “The team is excited to play its home leg matches after a gap of almost 3 years. I urge the fans to come to Patliputra Sports Complex in large numbers to support and cheer for their favorite Kabaddi players.”
