Patna: In the three-day match of the BCA Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament Super League, Patna secured a strong position in the first innings thanks to Piyush Singh’s brilliant 192 runs. In this Super League match being played between Muzaffarpur and Patna, Patna’s team won the toss and batted first, scoring 368 runs for 3 wickets by the end of the first day’s play.
The opening pair of Animesh Kumar and Piyush Kumar Singh provided a solid foundation for Patna with a 183-run partnership for the first wicket. Animesh scored 85 runs, Piyush contributed a stellar 192 runs, and Ashish added 35 runs for Patna. By the end of the first day’s match, Harsh Raj remained unbeaten on 28 runs and Akash Raj on 21 runs.
Rahul, Devashish, and Naman Singh took one wicket each for Muzaffarpur.
