Patna, June 4: The clash between Patna and Begusarai in the BCA Men’s Senior Cricket Tournament concluded in a draw at the Moinul Haq Stadium. Begusarai clinched three points due to their first-innings lead, while Patna managed to secure one point.

Begusarai, having won the toss, chose to bat first and amassed a substantial total of 476 runs in their opening innings, largely propelled by Prithvi Raj’s remarkable double century. In response, Patna faltered and were bundled out for 264 runs.

With a commanding lead of 212 runs from the first innings, Begusarai batted cautiously in their second innings, tallying 84 runs for the loss of two wickets. However, due to time constraints, the match concluded without a decisive result.

On the final day, Patna, starting at 149 for four, managed to post 264 runs before being bowled out. Animesh Kumar top-scored with 65 runs, supported by Piyush Kumar Singh (32) and Harsh Raj (59).
