Patna: The Patliputra Super Challenge Football Tournament, organised by Track Social Welfare Society, will begin on March 14 at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium.This information was given by the chairman of the organising committee, Vicky Pandey. He said that eight teams registered with the Patna Football Association (PFA) will play in this tournament.
Naveen Chandra, secretary of Track Social Welfare Society, said that the tournament will be played on a knockout basis. For the successful conduct of the tournament, help will be taken from the Patna Football Association, and the tournament will also be registered.
He said that, apart from the player of the match every day, the winning and runner-up teams would be given gleaming trophies. Along with this, individual prizes will also be given to the players of the winning and runner-up teams. The player of the tournament will also be rewarded.
He said that before the COVID-19 pandemic, the inter-school football tournament had been organised every year by the Track Social Welfare Society. Apart from this, many development works have been done by the organisation in Bihar, including in sports and other fields. This year, there are plans to organise several school and other sports tournaments.
