Patna: Li-Ning Bihar State Junior U-19 and Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament will be held in Munger from November 27 to December 2.
The tournament is being oragnised by Munger District Badminton Association under the aegis of Bihar Badminton Association (BBA).
Matches will be held at Badminton Indoor Hall, Fort Area, Munger.
BBA secretary KN Jaiswal said that qualifying matches will be played on November 27 while the main tournament will begin from November 28.
Free accommodation will be provided to boy/girl players, who are quarterfinalist in singles and semifinalist in paired event of the last Junior U-19 Gaya and Senior Madhubani tournaments, he said.
Jaiswal said this tournament is the selection tournament for junior (U-19) National. The performance of seniors will be considered for forthcoming senior all India ranking tournaments.
