Mumbai beat Bihar by ten wickets in CK Nayudu Trophy

Patna: Mumbai defeated Bihar by 10 wickets in the Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy Under-23 match ended at the Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana ground in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Mumbai, playing first, scored 474 runs after losing all the wickets in its first innings. Bihar scored 210 runs in the first innings and 293 runs in the second innings.

On the fourth day of the game, Bihar started the third at of 265 runs for three wickets and the entire team was all out for 293 runs. Ayush Loharuka did not make any increase in his score and was run out on 119 runs. Akash Raj scored 48 runs.

After this, Bihar’s innings collapsed. Captain Ankit Raj scored 4 runs. Shashank Upadhyay, Suraj Kashyap and Prashant Kumar Singh returned without opening their accounts. Anuj Raj played an unbeaten innings of 16 runs.

For Mumbai, Arthav Bhosle took 5 wickets for 80 runs while Arthav Vinod Ankolekar took 4 wickets for 60 runs.

Mumbai got a target of 30 runs to win, which it achieved in 3.3 overs without losing any wicket. Ankrish Raghuvanshi scored 27 not out and Subed Parkar scored 4 not out.
