Patna: Md Ashadulla of Munger claimed a grand treble, winning boys U1-13 and U-15 singles titles and boys U-13 doubles title of Hundred Bihar State Sub Junior (13 and 15) Badminton Tournament that concluded at Lord Buddha Badminton Academy in Gaya recently.
Ashadulla beat Pranjal Veer of Muzaffarpur 21-10, 21-12 in the boys U-13 singles final. In the boys U-15 singles Ashadulla defeated Ishant Raj of Samastipur 21-13, 19-12, 21-16.
In the boys U-13 doubles, Md Ashadulla amd Faisal Iqwal beat Ayan Ali Siddiqui and Pranjal Veer 21-13, 22-20.
Neha Kumari of Gaya won the girls U-13 singles title defeating Tanvie Arya of Patna 17-12, 21-16, 21-15.
Suhani Kumari of Muzaffarpur clinched the girls U1-5 singles title defeating Somya Bharti of Katihar 21-13, 18-13 (retd).
The pair of Ishant Raj and kavya Kashyap won the boys U-15 doubles title defeating Aradhya Kumar and Harsh Kumar 21-12, 21-16.
The prizes, including racket, T shirts and bags, were sponsored by Hundred, a subsidiary unit of badminton equipment manufacturer Li Ning. Bihar Badminton Association secretary KN Jaiswal was present on the occasion.
