Patna: Harsh Gawli’s 69 and Vikrant Singh Bhadauria’s 60 helped Madhya Pradesh register a five-wicket win over Bihar in the Men’s Under-25 State A Trophy tournament at KL Saini Stadium in Jaipur on Tuesday.
Madhya Pradesh won the toss and decided to field. Batting first, Bihar could score 171 runs in 49.1 overs. Captain Akash Raj made the maximum 51 runs for Bihar. Priyanshu Shukla and Rishabh Chauhan of Madhya Pradesh took three wickets each while Ritesh Shakya took two wickets. In reply, Madhya Pradesh team achieved the target in 25.3 overs losing five wickets. For Bihar, Amod and Suraj Kashyap got two wickets each. Bihar will now play their next match against Nagaland on December 1.
