Patna: Under the aegis of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association, the Madhepura District Kabaddi Association will organise the 21st Bihar State Sub-Junior Girls Kabaddi Championship from June 21 to June 22 at BP Mandal Indore Stadium, Madhepura.
Bihar State Kabaddi Association Secretary Kumar Vijay Singh said that all the preparations are being done under the supervision of Arun Kumar, Secretary, Madhepura District Kabaddi Association. The director of Darjeeling Public School, Kishore Kumar, has been made the convenor of the championship.
The weight of the players has been fixed at 55 kg. The secretary of all the registered district units of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association is requested to send their respective teams to the venue by 4:00 pm on June 20. On the basis of this tournament, the Bihar girls team will be selected to participate in the national championship.
Kumar Vijay said that a selection committee has been constituted, whose convenor will be the international umpire of the Pro Kabaddi League, Rana Ranjit Singh. The other members of the committee are NIS coach Bhavesh Kumar, NIS coach Abhinav Kumar Singh, NIS coach Chandni Kumari, and international Kabaddi player Shama Parveen.
