Basti: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to prioritize resolving land disputes and public issues. He further directed the officers to maintain regular communication with the public representatives. He also directed them to arrange visits to the Atal Residential Schools for the public representatives from all three districts.
During the divisional review meeting held on Wednesday in the Divisional Commissioner’s Auditorium, Basti, the Chief Minister said, “Actions should be taken against land mafias, mining, and other illegal activities. No one should be able to illegally occupy the land of the weak, poor, entrepreneurs, or businessmen.” He further instructed officials to install CCTV cameras facing the roads in major locations and markets of the city.
Take issues of measurement and transfer seriously
During the review of Basti division, the Chief Minister instructed that on the Sampoorna Samadhan Divas and Thana Diwas, senior officers should monitor cases closely with seriousness. He emphasized that cases related to measurement and transfer of land should be taken seriously and resolved within 48 hours. A system should be made to review such cases at the division, district and tehsil level.
“The status of disposal of cases of other departments should be reviewed regularly, any kind of laxity in this will not be forgivable. If any incident occurs in a land dispute, accountability will be fixed on the respective district and tehsil”, he said.
Provide information on disease prevention during school prayer time
The Chief Minister mentioned that Mission Shakti, related to the safety of women and girls, will start on October 14. Officials should take issues like forced conversions, cattle smuggling, and love jihad seriously. Special attention should be given to monitoring the border with Nepal.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister said that all cyber police stations and cyber helpdesks should remain active. Municipalities and Nagar Panchayats should be prepared as safe whistles. He took information from the officials of the three districts of the division about communicable diseases like dengue, chikungunya, kala azar, malaria, filariasis etc. and directed that complete treatment facilities should be provided at all the health centres.
Yogi also asked officials to conduct a special cleanliness campaign this month and provide information about prevention of diseases during prayer in schools. He also inquired about the availability of doctors and medicines in the districts.
Ensure pothole-free roads before Diwali
The Chief Minister gave instructions for the selection of eligible individuals for the Prime Minister Awas Yojana. “After the first installment is released, ensure quality construction on time, and that the second installment is also disbursed promptly. Allot land pattas to eligible persons who do not have land”, he said.
The Chief Minister suggested implementing a designated action plan for the utilization of Gram Panchayat Fund. “All roads should be made pothole-free before Diwali. Officials should ensure an adequate supply of electricity”, he said.
CM inspects Vashishtha Medical College
After the meeting, the Chief Minister reached Maharshi Vashishtha Medical College, OPEC Kaili Hospital and conducted an inspection of the emergency ward, L-Zone and Red Zone.
He also interacted with the patients admitted there and enquired about their treatment and facilities. Patients mentioned that they were receiving treatment and facilities in a satisfactory manner.
He also gathered information about batches and ongoing courses in the medical college, providing necessary directions to the relevant authorities during the inspection.
During the inspection, various officials were present, including Cabinet Minister Rakesh Sachan, District Panchayat President Sanjay Chaudhary, MLA Ajay Singh, Divisional Commissioner Akhilesh Singh, IG RK Bhardwaj, District Magistrate Andra Vamsi, Police Superintendent Gopal Krishna Chaudhary, Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar, Additional Director Health Dr. Neeraj Pandey, CMS Dr. AN Prasad, and HOD Dr. Anil Yadav and concerned departmental officers were present.
CM Yogi interacts with intellectuals of the district
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met intellectuals from different areas of the district at the Circuit House Auditorium. He appealed to everyone to continue contributing constructively for the welfare of the society and the district.
He encouraged them to promote banana cultivation and support compost fertilizer production.
Furthermore, CM said that entrepreneurs developing industrial parks in the private sector will be given full assistance by the government. Quick solutions will be provided for the problems faced in obtaining loans.
The Chief Minister said that the problems of the entrepreneurs, who signed MoUs with the government during Global Investors Summit are being resolved on priority. The groundbreaking ceremony will be conducted soon. He directed the District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police and public representatives of the districts to hold a meeting with the entrepreneurs once a month and get their problems resolved on priority.
