Patna: Patna District Junior Division Cricket League was inaugurated on Sunday at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium by Bihar Sports Minister Jitendra Kumar Rai and MLA Ranvijay Sahu. In the opening match, NMCC defeated Karbigahiya CC by 3 wickets.
Karbigahiya CC won the toss and electing to bat first scored of 146 runs off 25 overs. In reply, NMCC achieved the target losing seven wickets. Nitish Kumar Yadav of the winning team was adjudged man of the match.
Former BCA secretary Ravi Shankar Prasad, PDCA president Praveen Kumar Pranveer, secretary, Sunil Rohit , former player Anu Singh, Vijay Kumar Pandey (chairman tournament committee), Amit Kumar Yadav (convenor), Sanjay Kumar Sinha, Lalan Sahay, Dilip were present on the occasion.
