Patna: Katihar and Araria played a goalless draw in the 71st Bihar State Moinul Haq Cup Football Tournament organized by Bihar Football Association at Rajendra Stadium in Katihar on Wednesday.
Earlier, the match was was inaugurated by Usha Devi Agrawal, Mayor, Katihar Deputy Mayor, Manzoor Khan, President of District Football Association Shiv Prakash Garodia, Patron Ramesh Kedia and Secretary Dilip Kumar Shah.
Du to drawn match, both the teams got one point each.
The judges of the match were Harendra Yadav (Patna), Mukesh Kumar (Gaya), Mohan Kumar (Patna) and Sanjay Kumar (Katihar). Rajneesh Pandey (Purnia) was the selector.
Secretary of Bihar Football Association Syed Imtiaz Hussain said that on Thursday (August 24) two matches will be played. Kishanganj will face Purnia and Katihar will take on Madhepura.
