Patna: Bihar girls lost to Karnataka by six wickets in the U-19 T-20 match played at Abhimanyu Stadium in Dehradun on Thursday.
After winning the toss and batting first, Bihar scored 94 runs for eight wickets. In reply, Karnataka scored 96 runs for 4 wickets in 19.2 overs.
Batting for Bihar, Vaidehi Yadav made 34 runs, Mamta Kumari Patel scored 17 runs, Yashita Singh scored 31 runs and Khushi Gupta made 10 runs. Karnataka’s Vandita and Tejashwini took three wickets each, and Srinithi took one wicket.
In reply, Karnataka scored 96 runs for four wickets in the last over of the match, thanks to Bhavika Reddy’s 52 runs and Tejashwini’s 15 runs not out. For Bihar, Rishu took two wickets and Arpana and Vaidehi took one wicket each. Bihar’s next match is against Vidarbha on November 3.
