Bhabua, June 5: On the basis of brilliant half-centuries of Suryansh Tiwari (96 runs) and Mayank Raj (60 runs) and excellent bowling of Aryan Patel (3 wickets) and Sankalp Rastogi (3 wickets), Kaimur registered a 149 runs victory over Buxar in the Shahabad zone of Shyamal Sinha Inter District Under-16 Cricket Tournament.
In the match played at Kaimur Cricket Ground, Buxar won the toss and invited Kaimur to bat first. Kaimur scored 279 runs for 6 wickets in the stipulated 40 overs. In reply, Buxar’s team could only score 130 runs for 9 wickets in 40 overs. Suryansh Tiwari of the winning team was given the Player of the Match award.
