Mohali, August 9: Punjab FC (PFC) have roped in Manish Timsina as the Goalkeeping coach for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Manish, who is an AFC/FAM Goalkeeping “A” and ANFA “A” Diploma Licenced Coach, was the Goalkeeping Coach for I-League side Gokulam Kerala FC in the 2023-24 and is also the current Goalkeeping Coach of the Nepal National Team.
The 36–year-old Manish who hails from Morang began his coaching career in 2012 as the Head Coach of Delhi Public School, Biratnagar in Nepal. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience coaching in Nepal, India, and Malaysia. His first senior assignment was as the Head Coach of Morang DFA and in 2018, he was appointed as the Goalkeeping Coach of the U-15 Nepal National side.
In 2021, Manish joined Gokulam Kerala FC as their Goalkeeping Coach, where he played a crucial role in helping the team secure the I-League title during the 2021-22 season, continuing his tenure with the club for three successful seasons.
Welcoming Timsina to the Club, Nikolaos Topoliatis, Football Director, Punjab FC, said, “We are pleased to have Timsina join us as the goalkeeping coach.
