JIS Janbaz win Casa Picolla School Cricket Under-15 League title

Patna: JIS Janbaz won the title of the third edition of the Casa Picolla School Cricket Under-15 League, defeating Oxford Super Kings by 46 runs in the final of this cricket tournament organised under the aegis of Turning Point at Krishna Stadium, Khemnichak (Patna).

JIS Janbaz won the toss and batted first, scoring 158 runs in 19.5 overs. Saurabh Singh scored 50 runs. In reply, the Oxford Super Kings team was all out for 112 runs in 15.5 overs. Saurabh Singh of JIS Janbaz was adjudged the man of the match. Director of Turning Point Vijay Sharma, Prem Ranjan, Arvind of  the Mount Academy, and Armaan Abbas, Director, JIS Janbaz, gave away the man of the match award.

Everyone was welcomed by the convener of the league, Naveen Kumar, while the organising secretary, Santosh Tiwari, proposed a vote of thanks. The umpires for the match were Praveen Sinha, Rajesh Ranjan, while Raja Kumar was the scorer. The third umpire was Baijnath Prasad.
