Jharkhand sub-junior girls get hockey kits provided by Hockey India

  • 18-member Jharkhand team to participate in 13th Hockey India Sub-Junior National Women’s Hockey Championship 2023 to be held in Rourkela from May 4

Ranchi: Hockey Jharkhand on Wednesday distributed the playing kits (sticks, balls, masks and goalkeeper kit) to all 18-member Jharkhand hockey team which will participate in the 13th Hockey India Sub-Junior National Women’s Hockey Championship 2023 to be held at Rourkela, Odisha from May 4 to May 13.

Hockey India provided the kit to the budding players through Hockey Jharkhand. At a simple function held in the office of Hockey Jharkhand, Hockey India’s General Secretary and Hockey Jharkhand President Bhola Nath Singh, Hockey Jharkhand General Secretary Vijay Shankar Singh and CEO Rajneesh Kumar gave away the kits to the players. All these sports kits are of international standard worth Rs 30 lakh.

After taking over as the General Secretary of Hockey India, Bhola Nath Singh provided kits to all the state units and sports academies of the country on behalf of Hockey India for international level games. The kits include hockey sticks, goalkeeper gloves, masks and balls etc.

This kit will be given to all the players of sub-junior, junior and senior men and women teams playing for Hockey Jharkhand this year.
