Patna: Continuing their winning streak in the BCA Senior Cricket Tournament, Jehanabad registered their second consecutive win by defeating Vaishali by nine wickets.
In this match of Pool A of this tournament being played at the local Moinul Haq Stadium, captain Santosh Kumar (64 not out) and Dishant Mishra (67 runs) scored half-centuries for Jehanabad. Shivam (55 runs) also scored a half-century for Vaishali but his innings went in vain. For Jehanabad, Gautam Bhagwat took 4 wickets while Raju Yadav took 3 wickets.
In this match, Jehanabad won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, Vaishali scored 140 runs in 38.4 overs losing all the wickets. Shivam Kumar scored 55, Ratnesh Kumar Singh scored 38 runs.
In reply, Jehanabad won the match by scoring 144 runs for 1 wicket in 19.5 overs with the help of Santosh’s unbeaten 64 and Dishant Mishra’s 67 runs.
