Bihar Sharif, June 8: In the Magadh Zone match of Shyamal Sinha Inter District Under-16 Cricket Tournament being hosted by Cricket Association of Nalanda, Jehanabad defeated Sheikhpura by 7 wickets in its last league match. Gaya were on top in the points table of Magadh Zone while Jehanabad were at the second spot.
In the match played at the Nalanda Cricket Ground of the city, Sheikhpura won the toss and batting first scored 164 runs after losing all wickets in 32.4 overs. In reply, Jehanabad won the match by scoring 165 runs for 3 wickets in 30.2 overs with the help of Ankul’s unbeaten half-century.
