Patna: Kedia XI defeated Kumar XI by seven wickets while Blue Star defeated Pirmuhani CC by 42 runs in the Patna District Junior Division Cricket League at two different venues on Sunday.
Kedia XI’s bowler Jaikant was on fire as he claimed five wickets for 17 runs, while Blue Star’s Subhash Kumar batted well to score a century (115 runs).
At Khemnichak Ground, Kumar Club won the toss and batting first scored 98 runs losing all wickets in 14 overs. In reply, Kedia XI won the match by scoring 102 runs for three wickets in 8.5 overs. Jayakant was awarded the player of the match award.
