Patna: Jaguar Cricket Academy and SPS CC emerged victorious in their respective matches at the Abhishek Memorial Under-16 Cricket Tournament, currently taking place at the Bihar Cricket Academy, La Martiniere World School. Jaguar Cricket Academy secured a nine-wicket win over SK Puri Park Cricket Academy, while SPS CC triumphed over Karuna Cricket Academy with a resounding 145-run victory.
Dominant Win for Jaguar Cricket Academy
In the first match, held under the aegis of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation, SK Puri Park Cricket Academy, Boring Road, won the toss and opted to bat. However, their innings collapsed as the team was bowled out for just 58 runs in 14.1 overs, with no batsman reaching double digits. A significant 23 runs came from extras. For Jaguar Cricket Academy, Rahul and Aditya both took 3 wickets, while Pranay and Rakesh contributed with 2 wickets each.
In response, Jaguar Cricket Academy chased down the target, scoring 62 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in just 5.4 overs. Aditya of the winning side was named Rise Coaching Player of the Match, an award presented by Professor Nagendra Kumar.
SPS CC’s Commanding Performance
