Patna: Chandigarh defeated Bihar by an innings and 17 runs in the Vijay Merchant Trophy match held at MCA Stadium in Pune.
Chandigarh declared their first innings after scoring 450 runs for seven wickets. In reply, Bihar were all out for 267 runs in the first innings. Bihar were forced to follow on.
In the second innings, Bihar managed to score 166 runs and thus lost the match by an innings and 17 runs.
