Patna, June 23: Selection trial of players for the formation of Hockey Bihar team for participation in the 2nd Hockey India Junior and Sub-Junior East Zone Women’s Hockey Championship will be organized on June 26 at +2 Balika Uchch Vidyalaya, Shastri Nagar, Patna The Junior East Zone Women’s Hockey Championship is scheduled from July 14 to July 21, 2024 in Kolkata and the Sub-Junior East Zone Men’s Championship is scheduled from July 24 to July 31 in Guwahati (Assam).
Players from Bihar state with date of birth on or after 01st January 2006 for Junior category and on or after 01st January 2009 for Sub-Junior category can participate in the said trial. For participation, all players are required to bring along with them the certificate issued by the local body (Panchayat/Municipal Corporation), Aadhar Card, School Bonafide Certificate and Birth Certificate. Also, Hockey India Registration Form and Age Estimation Form (Medical) will be made available in advance or players will be required to bring the original copy along with them.
For selection trials, all participating players will ensure to report to Manoj Kumar and Aparajita Kumari at +2 Balika Uchcha Vidyalaya, Shastri Nagar, Patna on June 26 at 06.30 am.
A five-member selection committee has been constituted for this selection trial.
The members are Mini Kumari, NIS, Amar Kumar Bharti, NIS, Tulsi Kumari, NIS, Navneet Kaur, NIS and Anubha Singh.
