Patna: Selection trials for players for the formation of Hockey Bihar team for participation in the 2nd Hockey India Junior and Sub Junior East Zone Men Hockey Championship, to be held on June 26 and June 27 at Dung-Dung Stadium, BRC Danapur, Patna. The Junior East Zone Men Hockey Championship is scheduled from July 14 to July 21, 2024 in Kolkata and the Sub Junior East Zone Men Championship is scheduled from July 24 to July 31 2024 in Guwahati (Assam).
Players from Bihar state with date of birth on or after 01st January 2006 for Junior category and on or after 01st January 2009 for Sub Junior category can participate in the said trials. For participation, all players are required to bring the certificate issued by the local body (Panchayat/Municipal Corporation), Aadhar Card, School Bonafide Certificate and Birth Certificate. Also, Hockey India Registration Form and Age Estimation Form (Medical) will be made available in advance or players will be required to bring the original copy with them.
For selection trials, all participating players will ensure to report to Munindra at Dung-Dung Stadium, BRC Danapur, Patna on June 26 at 06.30 AM.
A selection committee has been constituted for this selection competition. The members are Manoj Kumar, NIS; Mohd. Iqbal Akhtar; Bhim Kumar; Vikash Kumar Singh and Nitish Kumar, NIS.
