Patna: Himachal Pradesh defeated Bihar by 8 wickets in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T-20 match in Mumbai on Saturday.
In the match played at Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy, BKC, Mumbai, Himachal Pradesh won the toss and invited Bihar to bat. Bihar scored 163 runs for seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In reply, Himachal scored 168 runs for two wickets in 13.4 overs.
For Bihar, Bipin Saurabh slammed a brilliant 80 runs, Gaurav Joshi contributed 13 runs, Sakibul Gani contributed 31 runs, and Sachin Kumar Singh made 17 runs.
For Himachal Pradesh, MJ Dagar took two wickets, and RR Dhawan, AP Vashishtha and Mukul Negi took one wicket each.
For Himachal Pradesh EC Sen scored 37 runs, PS Chopra scored 48 runs, SL Verma scored 53 not out and AP Vashishtha scored 25 not out. For Bihar, Paramjeet Singh took one wicket for 34 runs and Sachin Kumar Singh took one wicket for 19 runs.
