Patna: There is no dearth of talents in Bihar. In recent times, players have made the state proud by their talent in various sports. This includes baseball players as well. But the biggest problem in front of them is regarding practice due to lack of ground.
On Friday, General Secretary of Bihar Baseball Association Madhu Sharma met IPS Pankaj Raj, Director cum Secretary of Bihar State Sports Authority. Keeping in mind the interest of the players, she demanded from the authorities to provide the ground.
The Director-cum-Secretary has assured that soon arrangements will be made at Pataliputra Ground for the practice of baseball players. It may be mentioned here that that baseball is included in the Olympic Games. Soon a national tournament of baseball will be held in Bihar Patna.
