Patna: G.N.S.U beat Basawan Park Cricket Academy by 64 runs to win the Madhavji Prasad Memorial U-13 Cricket Trophy at YCC Sports Academy ground here on Sunday.
Winning the toss, G.N.S.U. Cricket Academy batted first and scored 220 runs losing 8 wickets in the stipulated 25 overs. In reply, Basawan Park Cricket Academy scored only 156 runs.
Man of the match award went to G.N.S.U’s Piyush, who scored a magnificent century.
Justice Gopal Prasad, Vibhuti Kavi (Former MLC), Bijoy Narayan Chunnu, Dr Satyajit Sinha (Director A.B.I. Institute), Dr Jyoti Prasad (president of the organising committee), Rishi Raj were the chief guests on the occasion and they gave away the prizes. Santosh Kumar (organising committee secretary), Ranjit Kumar Singh (social worker), Deepak Kumar and Rahul Kumar (Patna University player) were present on the occasion.
