Patna: Thanks to the excellent play of its bowlers, defending champion Gardnibagh Athletic Club (GAC) made a great start in the new season of Patna District Senior Division Cricket League. In their first match GAC defeated PAC by 8 wickets. Samrat Sunny was given the Player of the Match award.
In the match played at Sampatchak Ground, PAC won the toss and decided to bat first. PAC team was all out for just 78 runs in 25.4 overs. Samrat Sunny took 3 for 14 runs while Anmol Kumar Boney and Karthik took 2 wickets each.
In reply, GAC won the match by scoring 82 runs for two wickets in 5.3 overs with the help of Vikas Krishna’s 48 runs.
