Patna: Fearless Fighters, Daring Defenders, Agile Avengers, Brave Bulls and HR won their respective matches in the League cum Knockout Kho-Kho League for Men at Acharya Sudarshan Patna Central School ground here on Friday.
Daring Defenders defeated Jubilant Jaguars 97-19. Vishnu Kumar of the winning team scored 16 points and was awarded the Player of the Match award.
Azel Avengers defeated Challenger Chairs 40-20. KS Kumar of the winning team who scored 8 points was given the Player of the Match award.
Brave Bulls won over Elite Eagles by just 1 point. Brave Bulls scored 40 points and Elite Eagles scored 39 points. Aman Kumar of the winning team scored a total of 12 points.
Fearless Fighters continued their winning streak by defeating Golden Gladiators 69-27. Raja Inder Kumar scored 15 points and became the player of the match.
HR defeated Challenging Chairs 57–7. Suraj Kumar scored 12 points.
Neeraj Kumar Pappu, general secretary of Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, said that the semi-final and final matches will be played on Saturday. The prize distribution ceremony will be held on Saturday at 12.30 pm.
