Patna, May 24: The Patna District Junior Division Cricket League kicked off with great excitement at the Moinul Haque Stadium on Friday, under the guidance of the Patna District Cricket Association Steering Committee. In the opening match, FCI emerged victorious over Lakshya Engitech by 30 runs.
The league was inaugurated by Rajesh Kumar, Chairman of the Patna District Cricket Association Steering Committee, along with committee member Rahbar Abdin, who greeted the players and launched the event.
Dhananjay Kumar Singh, Chairman of the Patna District Senior and Junior Division Cricket League Organizing Committee, extended a warm welcome to everyone by presenting bouquets. Several dignitaries, including Dr. Mukesh Kumar Singh, graced the occasion with their presence.
FCI won the toss and elected to bat first, posting a total of 163 runs in 35 overs while losing seven wickets. In response, Lakshya Engitech was all out for 133 runs in 27.2 overs. FCI’s Ashish Kumar, who claimed four wickets, was awarded Player of the Match.
