Patna: ERCC and YMCC have advanced to the semi-finals of the Shivnandan Paswan Memorial Invitation T20 Cricket Tournament after securing impressive victories in their respective matches. ERCC defeated PESU by a narrow margin of 5 runs, while YMCC dominated Adhikari XI with a commanding 9-wicket win.
The semi-finals, scheduled for Friday, February 28, will see Rajvanshi Nagar CC take on YMCC, while Rising Star CC will face ERCC in what promises to be an exciting clash.
ERCC vs PESU: A Thrilling Encounter
In the first match held at Moinul Haq Stadium, ERCC posted a competitive total of 151 runs for 7 wickets in their 20 overs, thanks to a solid 45-run knock by Harshvardhan. PESU’s Dheeraj was the standout bowler, claiming 3 wickets.
Chasing 152, PESU fell just short, managing 146 runs for 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Yashasvi Shukla (37) and Shashim Rathore (25) tried to anchor the innings, but ERCC’s bowlers, led by Vivek (3 wickets) and Sachin (2 wickets), held their nerve.
