Bettiah: Dynamic Club and Dronacharya Cricket Club won their respective matches played on Monday in the West Champaran District A Division Cricket League. Due to the all-round play of Gautam and Ayush, Dronacharya Cricket Club defeated Eleven Star Loria by five wickets while Dynamic Club defeated Monarch Club by three wickets.
On Tuesday, the first match was played between Dronacharya Cricket Club and Eleven Star Loria. Loria captain Sandeep Pandey won the toss and decided to bat first. The openers batted brilliantly and made a partnership of 76 runs for the first wicket. The Eleven Star team could not take advantage of the excellent partnership, and the entire team was out on 143. Praveen contributed 42 runs, Sandeep Pandey 26, Ankur 14, Adarsh 12 runs.
For Dronacharya Cricket Club, Gautam took five wickets, Vishal took two wickets and Deepak took two wickets. In reply, Dronacharya achieved the target losing five wickets. Ayush Kumar contributed 62 runs and Gautam contributed 40 runs.
The second match took place between Monarch Bettiah and Dynamic Club Bettiah. The captain of Monarch Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat. Om Kumar Singh, while opening the batting, contributed 55 runs, Surya Mohan contributed 33 runs, Akash contributed 15 runs. Monarch team scored 165 runs. Dynamic bowler Kundan Kumar took three wickets. Fazal, Arvind and Ayush took two wickets each.
In reply, Dynamic Cricket Club won the match by three wickets with the help of Abhishek’s 55 runs, Suman Patel’s 36 runs, and Ayush’s 20 runs.
