Patna: On the auspicious occasion of Kharna Pujan, the second ritual of 4-day Chhath Puja, the great festival of public faith, Chhath material was distributed among Chhath devotees by state convenor of BJP Sports Cell cum patron of Nav Yuvak Sngh President Chamber Satish Raju. BJP’s national secretary Rituraj Sinha attended as the chief guest and distributed sarees, soup, coconut and fruits to hundreds of women.
On this occasion, BJP’s national secretary Rituraj Sinha said that Chhath Vrat is the biggest festival of Bihar and it is a festival related to the faith of Bihar. This festival is celebrated with great pomp in all the poor and rich families and distributing Chhath material among the devotees is an act of virtue. Simultaneously, Sinha extended Chhath greetings to the people of the state.
State convenor of BJP Sports Cell Satish Raju said that every year on the occasion of Chhath Puja, his organisation has been distributing Chhath material among Chhath devotees. Distributing Chhath material in this great festival of folk faith is an act of virtue. Because of this, the grace of Chhathi Maya remains forever. Along with this, Raju extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Chhath festival.
BJP Sports Cell’s state spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Yadav, Abhishek Binny, Shailendra Sonu, Anand Prasad, Naresh Kumar of Nav Yuvak Sangh , Chandan, Anand Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Bade Kumar and dozens of workers participated in the virtuous work.
