Dhanbad: The 8th Jharkhand State Thang-Ta Championship, organided under the aegis of Jharkhand Thang-Ta Association, concluded on Sunday at Agrasen Bhawan, Hirapur in Dhanbad. In this two-day championship, 165 Thang-Ta players from different districts of the state participated.
Dhanbad claimed the overall championship trophy by winning 17 gold medals, while Palamu with 7 gold and stood second. Lohardaga stood third with 4 gold.

Jharkhand Thang-Ta Association President Ranjit Keshari, General Secretary Manoj Sharma, and Dhanbad District Olympic Association Treasurer Pawan Baranwal, Sunil Kumar Sao, Shravan Sahu, Sunil Kumar Prasad, Sankar Ram, Sanju Kumar gave away medals to all the winners and awarded with certificates at prize-distribution function.
