Chhattisgarh, Puducherry, Gujarat and Haryana post victories in 67th National School Games Under-17 Boys Cricket Championship

Patna: Chhattisgarh, Puducherry, Gujarat and Haryana have won their respective matches played so far in the 67th National School Games Under-17 Boys Cricket Championship, being played under the aegis of Bihar State Sports Authority. Chhattisgarh defeated Jharkhand by 19 runs, Puducherry defeated Goa by 12 runs, Gujarat defeated DAV by 4 runs and Haryana defeated Delhi by 5 wickets.

Chhattisgarh vs Jharkhand

In the match played at Jagjivan Stadium in Khagaul, Jharkhand won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, Chhattisgarh scored 145 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Jharkhand team could score only 126 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Aditya Srivastava (53 runs, 2 wickets) of the winning team was declared the player of the match.
