Chhattisgarh in driver’s seat against Bihar in Ranji Trophy

Patna: Due to bad light, only 39 overs of the Ranji Trophy match between Bihar and Chhattisgarh being played at the Moinul Haq Stadium could be played. Playing ahead with 90 runs for one wicket, Chhattisgarh scored 211 runs for one wicket till the end of the second day’s play.

Chhattisgarh had taken a lead of 103 runs over Bihar by scoring 211 at the loss of one wicket. At the end of the day’s play, Chhattisgarh batsman Rishabh Tiwari was unbeaten on the crease after scoring 98 runs in 201 balls, and Ashutosh Singh was unbeaten on 81 runs in 160 balls. There has been an unbeaten partnership of 159 runs between these two players. On the second day of the match, no bowler from Bihar was successful in taking wickets.
