Patna: Chandigarh trounced Bihar by 135 runs in the Women’s U-23 One Day Trophy match in Lucknow on Saturday.
Chandigarh won the toss and decided to bat. Batting first, Chandigarh gave a target of 257 runs to Bihar after losing 5 wickets in 50 overs. For Chandigarh, captain Aradhana Visht scored 114 runs in 127 balls with the help of 13 fours and 2 sixes, while Twinkle Pathak scored 74 with the help of 15 fours. For Bihar, Rachna Singh and Komal Kumari got two wickets each.
In reply, Bihar were all out for 122 in 46.4 overs. For Bihar, Shruti Kumari scored 30 runs and Khushboo Kumari scored 20 runs. Chandigarh’s Jyoti Kumari took 6 wickets and Parushi Prabhakar took 2 wickets.
