Patna: Boys Sports Company defeated Sikh Regiment Center 2-1 to enter the final of first Major Dhyan Chnad Club Hockey Tournament. In the final Boys Sports Company will take on Bihar Regiment Centre who defeated Army Boys 2-1 in the second semifinal at BRC Hockey Ground here on Sunday.
The tournament is being organised by Hockey Bihar to celebrate National Sports Day which falls on August 29. The man of the match was given to Inderjit Singh of the Sikh Regiment Center. In the second match, Man of the match of this match was given to Sahil.
Delhi Public School’s Principal B. Vinod and Naresh Singh Chauhan, Deputy Assistant Director, Bihar State Sports Authority, Vipin Singh, Executive President, Mahamana Malviya Mission Bihar and Assistant Director Youth, Alok Kumar Singh were present during the match. National umpires Bhim Kumar, Sanjay Tiwari, Mini Kumari, Preeti Kumari, Peter Paul Lakra, Ismita Kumari officiated the matches.
