Varanasi, July 23: Ajay Kumar Bind,an employee of Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) made his significant contribution and helped India win a gold medal in the team event cross country race of the 17th USIC Cross Country Championship – 2022 held in Berlin under the aegis of International Railway Sports Federation from July 13 to July 16.
BLW general manager Anjali Goyal felicitated Ajay with medal. While congratulating all the players of the Indian team for their success, the Goyal said that the gold medal of Ajay Kumar Bind has made BLW family proud and the country. I wish that Bind just keep writing the name of the country and BLW in golden letters.
President of BLW Sports Association and principal chief personnel officer Pradeep Kumar Singh felicitated Bind by an angavastra and wished him a bright future. Senior deputy general manager Vijay also congratulated Bind.
In another felicitation program, principal of Technical Training Center Ram Janam Choubey while congratulating Bind said that sports and games have always been given importance in BLW so that they can perform better.
Sports officer Bahadur Prasad described the success of BLW athlete Bind as inspirational for everyone and said that players are always an inspiration to others.
While congratulating Bind, public relations officer, Rajesh Kumar said that BLW is making a significant contribution to the progress of the country by producing a record number of locomotives, while the achievement of players like Ajay Bind has brought BLW’s name to the world stage due to which the best image of Banaras Locomotive Works was created.
