Patna : On the eve of National Sports Day , the BJP Sports Cell, organised Khiladi Samman Samaroh (players felicitation function) at Atal Auditorium of BJP State Headquarters here on Sunday. Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Assembly Vijay Kumar Sinha, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Council Samrat Chaudhary, MLA Murari Mohan Jha, BHP state headquarters in-charge Suresh Rungta and State Convener of BJP Sports Cell Satish Raju inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. About 173 players from 49 sports were honored on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Kumar Sinha said that on the eve of National Sports Day, the BJP Sports Cell has done the work of encouraging the talented players of Bihar by organising a player award ceremony. This felicitation ceremony will boost the morale of the players and they will all be able to perform better in their games in the coming days.
Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Council, Samrat Chaudhary said that the BJP Sports Cell has proved that by organising the Player Award Ceremony on the eve of National Sports Day, the BJP takes all sections of the society together. A new energy will be infused among the players of Bihar, which will work to bring medals for Bihar as well as for the country in future.
State convener of BJP Sports Cell, Satish Raju said that on the eve of National Sports Day on the birth anniversary of hockey magician Bharat Ratna Major Dhyan Chand, all such players were honoured who won medals for Bihar. By honouring 173 players today, the BJP Sports Cell has encouraged all the players so that the morale of all the players is maintained and in the coming days they will perform better in national meets. BJP sports cell has always been dedicated to the uplift of sportspersons.
