Patna, July 21: Bihar’s budding fast bowler Sakib Hussain of Gopalganj has been called for the High Performance Training Camp of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to be held from August 7 at NCA in Bengaluru.
Sakib Hussain, who practices at the GenX Cricket Academy in Gopalganj, participated in the NCA camp earlier this year. Sakib’s performance this season has been excellent. He took six wickets in three matches in U-19 one day matches, 21 in days matches and eight wickets in three internal matches of NCA. Sakib Hussain bowls at a speed of more than 140 kilometers per hour. He maintains his momentum.
A total of 25 players from all over the country will participate in this high performance camp organszed by the BCCI and in the coming days the selected players will tour abroad as members of Indian Under-19 team.
On the achievement of Sakib Hussain, the officials of Gopalganj Cricket Association have congratulated him and wished him more success in life.
