Bihar’s Ryan shares lead in 12th National School Chess Championship

Patna: Bihar’s Ryan Mohammed was jointly leading the table with seven points after the end pf eighth round play of the 12th National School Chess Championship 2024, being held at Gyan Bhawan under the joint auspices of Bihar Sports Authority and Bihar Chess Association.

Playing on number two board, Ryan defeated Vandan Alankar Sawai. Pratyush of Bihar, who was playing at number one board, had to face defeat.

The 12th National School Chess Championship 2024, being held at Gyan Bhawan under the joint auspices of Bihar Sports Authority and Bihar Chess Association, concluded the seven rounds today. The eighth round of the game was inaugurated by prohibition department secretary Vinod Gunjiyal and director of social welfare department Prashant Kumar.
