Patna: The Bengal vs Bihar Col CK Nayudu Trophy match began at the Bengal Cricket Academy Ground in Kalyani, West Bengal on Sunday. For Bengal, Sahitya Hazara (51 runs), Prayas Rai Varman (61 runs) and Arin Rai (54 runs not out) scored half-centuries. For Bihar, Anuj Raj took 5 wickets for 59 runs.

In this match, Bihar won the toss and decided to field first. Bihar bowler Anuj Raj gave a good start to Bihar. Anuj Raj first sent opener Mohit Rai and then Surodeep Devnath and Deepak Mahato to the pavilion cheaply. Bengal lost three wickets for 25 runs in 14.5 overs. After this, opener Sahitya Hazara and Prayas Rai Varman propped up Bengal innings. Both scored half-centuries. After this, Arin Rai also scored a half-century and helped Bengal reach a respectable score of 228 runs at the end of the first day’s play.
