Patna: The Bihar Wushu Association convened its Executive and Annual General Body Meeting at Akshat Seva Sadan, Yarpur, Patna. Presided over by Dr. Amulya Kumar Singh, the President of the Association, the meeting saw the attendance of prominent officials including General Secretary Suman Mishra, Vice President Muktamani, Dr. B. Priyam, Joint Secretaries Suraj Kumar and Rajesh Thakur, along with Members Vinay Pandit, Sonu Shah, Priyanka Devi, Ashok Kumar, Sanjeev Yadav, Anup Kumar Sinha, and Ms. Isha Mishra.
The agenda encompassed discussions on the participation of Bihar’s Wushu athletes in forthcoming state-level and national-level competitions like Khelo India and the National Games. Additionally, deliberations took place regarding the selection of the district to host the state-level competition in the upcoming year. Noteworthy guidance was provided by the chairman, while the secretary highlighted Bihar’s Wushu players’ accomplishments, noting a significant tally of 52 medals secured at national-level tournaments during the current year.
