Patna: Bihar team started its medal campaign in style defeating Kerala by 67-11 in the 33rd National Sub Junior Girls Kabaddi Championship, hosted by Bihar State Kabaddi Association under the aegis of Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India, which started from Sunday at the local Pataliputra Sports Complex.
The inaugural match played between Bihar and Kerala was completely one-sided. In this match, the Kerala team looked completely humbled. Captain Khushi Kumari, Pratibha Kumari, Shreya Kumari, Anushka Kumari, Mani Kumari played brilliantly from Bihar side. Bihar team was completely dominant from raid to tackle. The officials of Bihar State Kabaddi Association have congratulated the Bihar team on its spectacular victory.
In other matches, Tamil Nadu defeated J and K 55-9, Haryana defeated Gujarat 56-15, UP defeated Andhra Pradesh 67-30, Delhi defeated Tripura 45-1.
